Safety and privacy
G-Warp is a beta project. This page summarizes the project's stated rules, not a substitute for reviewing the actual code and network behavior of a specific build.
- G-Warp does not require an account to use the local editor.
- Do not enter passwords, private keys or other secrets into projects or AI prompts.
- Extensions are labelled Safe, Moderate or Dangerous to help you evaluate capabilities. A label is not a perfect security guarantee.
- Extensions that may read personal information should be treated as high risk. Read the warning before enabling them.
- Bug reports are sent by you through GitHub; review anything attached before sending it.
- Children under 13 should have a parent or guardian's help before sending personal information online.
- Never run arbitrary JavaScript supplied by a project or extension. The project rules state that JavaScript blocks are not run.
Before sharing a project
Remove personal details, tokens, private URLs and anything you do not want to publish. If a bug report needs a project, make a minimal copy and inspect it first.
For a security concern, report the file or feature without publishing a secret value.
